Mallet London is a British luxury footwear brand renowned for its innovative designs and commitment to exceptional craftsmanship since 2015. Founded to redefine the luxury market, Mallet combines high-end materials with distinctive style, making aspirational luxury accessible to a discerning clientele. Facing limitations with their existing website platform, Mallet partnered with WIRO to undertake a comprehensive Shopify 2.0 rebuild and achieve its growth objectives.

Client Objectives & Growth Goals

Mallet London approached WIRO with the following key objectives:

Challenges

Mallet's previous website encountered several challenges:

  • The previous website was not built on Shopify 2.0 and therefore had limited ability to customise, edit and add new pages with new sections to the frontend in the Shopify editor.
  • The site lacked essential features such as a loyalty program, wishlist functionality and a structured product release strategy resulted in missed opportunities to engage and retain customers.
  • As Mallet continued to expand, their existing setup lacked the flexibility to support rapid growth and evolving marketing strategies.
WIRO's Approach & Process

To overcome these challenges WIRO undertook a comprehensive Shopify 2.0 rebuild for Mallet London, focusing on both aesthetics and functionality.  The project encompassed:

1. Shopify 2.0 Rebuild

  • Transitioned Mallet London’s store to Shopify 2.0, allowing for seamless content management and page customisation.
  • Developed modular, flexible sections within the Shopify editor, enabling the internal team to update and refine their site without needing technical support.

2. Enhanced Customer Engagement Features

  • Loyalty Program: Integrated Loyalty Lion to offer discounts to their most loyal customers and building a VIP tiered system to reward users.
  • Wishlist Functionality: Enabled logged in users to save their products to come back to, or save for when on Sale.
  • Upcoming Drop & Calendar Page: Created a dedicated page to build hype for upcoming releases, exclusive collaborations with other brands and new products dropping from Mallet.
Results Achieved
  • The new website provides a faster, more responsive and user-friendly experience.
  • Mallet now has full control over its website content, easily adding and updating pages and sections.
  • The introduction of loyalty rewards and wishlist has strengthened customer engagement and repeat purchases.
  • The Upcoming Drop/Calendar page has proven successful in generating buzz and driving traffic for new product launches.
