Job Description

We are seeking an Analytical Expert to join our ecommerce agency. This role is pivotal in analysing data for our ecommerce clients and supplying critical insights to our Design and Strategy team. Your work will help determine how to best allocate clients' retainers by monitoring market trends and reviewing analytics and metrics post-launch. This position is at the heart of our strategy as a data and research-led agency, enhancing our ability to deliver strong ROI to our clients.

If you also have experience in CRO, A/B Testing or User Testing then this is a massive plus!

Why Are We Hiring?

Our Design and Strategy team has expanded over the past few years, and we are now looking to deepen our specialisation in data analysis and research. With a focus on delivering measurable ROI, understanding and interpreting client data is crucial. The Analytical Expert will report to our CX Design Lead and play a key role in guiding client strategies through actionable data insights.

Responsibilities

  • Routinely monitor key metrics and trends for client accounts.
  • Set up and manage Looker Studio reports to visualise data effectively.
  • Configure and update Google Events and Google Tag Manager as needed to track client interactions.
  • Deliver reports on data trends, both internally and to clients, highlighting significant changes or opportunities.
  • Benchmark industry-specific metrics to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Analyse user behaviour and conversion funnels using Hotjar.
  • Manage tasks and provide updates using Clickup.
  • [Bonus] Apply expertise in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) through tools like VWO, AB Tasty, or similar platforms for split testing.
  • [Bonus] Conduct user testing, including setting up tests, recruiting participants, and reporting on findings to enhance UX strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and Google Tag Manager.
  • 2+ years of experience with Hotjar and conducting data-driven analysis in the ecommerce sector.
  • Proven ability to create reports that deliver client-specific insights to support Growth Retainer strategies.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and its analytics capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration skills, especially with UX Designers and strategists, to translate data insights into actionable design and strategy improvements.
  • Based in the UK or Europe and comfortable in a client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule

The role is part-time, with flexible working hours based on mutual agreement. There is a potential for this position to transition to full-time as we expand our focus on data and research and increase the related budgets within our clients' retainers.
