CX Designer
Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced CX Designer to join our ecommerce agency. You’ll be responsible for managing, testing and implementing conversion points across our clients ecommerce CX. You’ll be working with clients on recommending key initiatives that will move the needle for their conversion, then producing wireframes and vetting UI concepts. This will involve a mixture of strategic and hands on work. You’ll primarily be responsible for the CX, but strong UI skills are also required to ensure final products are cohesive.

However, we want to up our game with how we scale our clients’ growth. That’s where you come in! You’ll help us produce high yield roadmaps for our clients to best use their budgets effectively. As a small agency, your input will have a massive impact! Through working to deliver effective recommendations, you’ll build strong relationships with our clients and come up with ideas and initiatives that will feed directly into our design and development team.
Responsibilities
- Review our retainers to recommend key improvements and prioritise these based on speed to implement and potential return.
- Produce wireframes, designs and typography according to digital best-practices and team priorities.
- Consult with clients coming to us for an end-to-end build to understand their customers’ needs, and present effective solutions.
- Stay on top of industry trends.
- Brief and manage the output of our offshore UI Designers to ensure concepts use the best practices for conversion.
- Create of customer journey flows and empathy maps to help visualise different actors' scenarios and flows.
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to create complex Information Architecture structures from scratch.
- Audit new clients’ sites which come in and produce findings and recommendations.
- Manage the interface design output and considerations.
- Act as liaison to cross-functional teams to clarify and finalise project specifications.
Requirements
- 2+ Years experience in Ecommerce
- 3+ Years in UX/CX
- Experience in managing UI Designers
- Figma experience and understanding
- Can work autonomously to strategically recommend the best initiatives for growth
- Agency experience
- Good time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
- Analytics + Data heavy

- Worked with Shopify previously
